Speaking & Group Programs

A detailed flyer of Mountain Spies tour and group experiences.

Mountain Spies offers a number of Immersive Experience based Programs

Mountain Spies brings the hidden history of American intelligence through engaging speaking programs, private group experiences, and customized events. Explore the secret training grounds of the Office of Strategic Services and the intelligence soldiers of Camp Ritchie, as well as the Cold War transformation of the Catoctin–South Mountain region. Discover the remarkable people, places, and events that have shaped American intelligence history.

Bring the Secret History of the Mountains to Your Audience

Mountain Spies founder and historical interpreter Programs offer customized events for historical societies, museums, libraries, veterans and military organizations, conferences, universities, lifelong-learning programs, and corporate, defense, and public-sector audiences. Chris Hill delivers engaging speaking programs that connect the largely untold history of this region to the broader narrative of World War II, American intelligence history, and the Cold War. Drawing on extensive historical research, archival records, and historic photographs, as well as decades of experience in the Catoctin–South Mountain region, Chris immerses audiences in the story—exploring not only what happened but also why these mountains became a significant landscape in America's intelligence and national security history.
